Love this Grinder
I received the Kitchen Aid grinder for a gift many years ago and have nothing but good to say about it. I use it mostly to grind cooked chicken for chicken salad sandwiches and it is the best. So easy to use; and I always put it away assembled so when I want to use it the next time it takes me about 30 seconds to attach.

Black Residue...
I threw it out after one use. After grinding 3 pounds of meat, there was black residue on all of the meat. Apparently, others have had this problem, too. The blade grinds against the plates. I would not serve that meat to anyone. Big ole waste of money for the meat and the grinder.
