Good quality and very reasonable price.
No ugly rubber! Cotton does shed, but this is a minor inconvenience as it takes 2 minutes to wipe the washer out, which is preferred over messy deteriorating rubber. It easily drys, however we dry off before getting out of the shower. Any rug would have difficulty drying if someone just stepped onto it while dripping wet. I believe most of the issues some people are having are due to lack of common sense versus inferior quality.

great bath rugs
I love these rugs - mainly because they last a long time and can be washed often and not have to worry about the rubber backing falling apart. They also feel nice under the feet and are absorbant. I have them in my bathroom and the guest bathroom.
As for the comments on them staying wet? - Dry off first while in the shower and then step out onto the mat. Also drape the mat over the tub to let it air out after use. Easy!

Love Love Love them
I have 4 of these rugs and love them. They fit perfectly in my small bathrooms and look great! Yes, they are a little "linty" when first washing -- but come on! - their cotton!. They feel great under bare feet and I haven't had any problems with them staying wet. It they get too wet - why not hang them or drape them over the tub to dry.

2.5 Stars
I loved these rugs when I first bought them. I bought 2, one for stepping out of the bath and one for the sink area in my bathroom. After about a week or so, I decided to wash the rugs. HOLY COW! I opened the washing machine to find HUGE chunks of lint scattered all over. I had to run the rinse cycle with an empty machine to avoid getting brown fuzz all over my other clothes. Upon drying them, within 20 minutes it had filled up my dryer's lint trap. I kept drying them in 20 minute increments until they were finally dry.
All in all these rugs are nice, but I wish something could be done about the amount of lint they leave behind after being washed.
