Just too fragile
I bought two in king size, intending to cover two twin size box springs with each (under 2 king mattresses.)
Ultimately I'm not sure it's physically possible to get them on a king mattress (or box spring set up) without damaging them, even with two people - they are just too fragile. We were being careful due to reviews here and still had one hole and a long rip within the first minute of trying.
A single twin might provide less resistance and make it possible, but I wasn't about to try with my second intact one. Returning it and opting for a pricier, non-vinyl option.

Worst made product I've ever purchased
I bought 3 covers for a full size mattress, boxspring and a queen size mattress to protect against bedbugs. First, the covers were sized incorrectly, with the boxspring swimming in the full cover while the mattress of the same size barely fit into the supposedly same size cover. In both cases, the seams on both covers were separated when removed from the bag and the zipper pull fell out of the bag separately from one of the covers while the other emerged ripped. I used duct tape to seal them as I had tenants moving in, but what a waste of $50 for 3. This is my first experience with Bed, Bath and Beyond. It may be my last.

Good for the price
I have been using this mattress protector for nearly two years on dozens of missionary beds. They don't make as much noise while sleeping as other inexpensive protectors and if you don't move the mattress much they are quite durable. For the price, they are very good. If one is torn, I just patch it with clear packing tape. If seriously damaged, they are cheap to replace.
