Poor Quality
These beaters came with my new KA mixer. I was mixing cookie dough and the beaters bent and bang together now. I did a live chat online with a person from Kitchen Aid and she told me I should have used the dough hooks as the beaters are only for liquid. Here is what the description statement on the Kitchen Aid site says.

Disappointed
I would not make this purchase again. The beaters came apart within 6 months of purchase. I had a GE mixer with the same type of beaters and it lasted for years. I was thinking I was getting a superior product and found it was anything but superior. I will go back to GE since it is less expensive and lasts years longer.

attachments are cheaply made
Have used mixer about 6 times and beater came apart. Emailed Kitchen Aid and they never even acknowledged me.

I had purchased a mixer from a friend that had no beaters with it only the bread hooks. This price was cheaper that any other company that I had contacted (on the phone or website). I am very pleased with my purchase.
