Absolutely Perfect
This pot is everything I wanted. Makes fantastic chili, soups, empanada fillings, pot roast... it's a work horse that does everything and cleans up easy. I've had it for 2 years now and haven't had a single problem with it.

Great price...heavy...good quality
Love this. I had bought 2 Tramontina's from Walmart for half the price, but after 2 separate purchases and returns, both had lids that didn't sit level. So, went to my local Bed Bath Beyond and they had these Fontignac's on the shelf...I was able to take the 6.5 qt out of the box and check the lid and check all for chips. All was great and lid set flat with no rocking. I cooked Beef and Noodles in it tonight, and though it seemed to stick a tiny bit, it cleaned off like a dream without scrubbing. (proteins and starch will stick to anything and usually you have to scrub to remove). This is going to be my new fave!!!

Disappointment
I have had this pot for less than a year and have used it fewer than 20 times. I was planning to use it today when I saw that a 4.5 inch strip of the enamel coating had flaked from the rim of the lid in one area and a second smaller area had flaked from the outside of the pot. I am careful with my cast iron, and wash them by hand, use the small plastic pieces to keep the lid from being in contact with the pot while in storage, and store the pots so they do not touch one another.
I have Le Creuset pots that I've used frequently over several years and they show no sign of flaking or chipping. Unfortunately, the Fontignac pot I bought is not the same quality.

Perfect Cooking Utensil
Every meal I have cooked in this pot -- from tomato sauces to chile to french onion soup has turned out perfectly and full of flavor. It maintains a boil on low heat and cleans with very little effort. I have owned a blue one for almost two years. Today I am purchasing a red one for my son and his wife.
