not bad... but
This product does the job, however, it is a bit awkward to use. The spacing between the stainless back support and the rolled front needs adjustment for every size cookbook. Yet, sliding the back support on the stainless base is not smooth, somewhat jerky... and it scrapes and scratches some. The plastic shield also scratches easily, but I don't use it for all cookbooks, and my regular one is home made, with favorite recipes in protective plastic sleeves. All in all, it looks nice, and will serve my needs.
