She should stick to acting
I want to start by saying that I NEVER write reviews for products, so sitting down to do this is a new one on me.
We purchased this exact product in store less than a week ago. Having moved and gotten rid of all our mismatched Ikea plates and bowls I was excited to pick out a set! I'll let Ms. Keaton take it from here...this is her quote: "My life is such that I have these old dishes that I eat off with my kids. I’ve broken them, and all that. What’s come of all this is I like sturdy. I want something I feel will last and has some weight to it and is very simple."
They are sturdy and have a really nice heft to them, which I love. What I don't love is that after 3, yes count them, THREE hand washes they are scratched beyond belief. I'm using a normal sponge here people, not a brillo pad and since everything is new I've been especially gentle when handling them. I know they weren't a fortune but for $50+ I expect something to last longer than cheapo Ikea...but as it stands, I see a trip to the mega-Ikea in the next 3 months to replace these.
Save yourself the money, buy something else.
