Slow drainage
This drain stopper makes the water drain slower when I use it vs when I just let the hair go down the drain. Every shower without fail, there would be a couple inches of water gathering in my tub around my ankles even with only 2 or 3 strands of hair caught in the stopper. Bad design. I dont use it anymore.

Best Hair Drain hair Stopper
This is the "BEST" for the following reasons: I've tried them all. Others don't have a "post" below and require leaving the drain plug in and is the major reason the tub "drains slow". The others lift up or push aside and the hair goes below the stopper. This one has a post which resists side movement. It also holds onto hair better.
Women lose hair more than men--I have a wife and 2 daughters-and this works! Take my advice, buy one, and you will be very satisfied.

Does the job
After my daughter discovered this item at BBB I bought one and I do like it. I use a dry facial tissue to clean it because the hair sticks to the tissue. Then I give it a Lysol spray and place it back in the tub. After several months it does yellow and it is time to replace it.

Catches hair, but drains slowly
I bought two of these, but am not really that happy with how the water drains when I'm using it. It does capture more hair than my current one, but the wholes seem to drain the water so slowly. I hate backed up water when I shower.
