Has its advantages I like this saver, but I can't say I've noticed a HUGE difference in shelf-life of my herbs. I mean, they are a little more supple than when left without water, which helps, but if left for one day too long (not an exact science) they can become soggy in the stems. Also, this saver does not hold that much. For example when you get cilantro at the grocery store, they always sell you enough to start a Mexican restuarant...I can only get a small bunch of that in here. Essentially, it's the perfect size for one of those SMALL plastic herb containers you get at the grocery store. September 12, 2012

Best Kitchen Gadget in a Long time I love, love, love the Herb Savor. I've kept cilantro for over a month and other herbs even longer. This product will pay for itself in no time by prolonging the life of herbs that normally would be thrown out. It was $10 cheaper in the store, tho. June 29, 2012

herbs last I got this over a month ago & I put cilantro in it. It was still fresh when I finished using it over a month later. The price went up $10 since I bought it, I think it is a bit pricey now. I would like to get another one but the new price is a bit high! February 19, 2011
