Poor Contruction, but beautiful and sturdy.
I purchased this bench because my 80 yr old Mom was visiting & I wanted something sturdy for her to sit on in our walkin shower. Well after two showers the top split. The stool is beautiful teak and very very sturdy. Teak is a suitable wet weather wood we have teak on our boat. This is poor construction and should have never came upglued. Now I have to haul the stool all the way back to the store. BB & B needs to improve their quality control with their products.

Too Heavy
Pretty looking stool however I returned it because I became tired of struggling to drag it out from under the vanity. It's very heavy!

I love this stool
I love this stool I use it for sitting at my desk while using my laptop, and it fully supports me and and is very sturdy.

Solid, well made stool
I was really impressed with how solid, heavy, and well made this stool is. Haven't had it long enough to see how it stands up to use in the bathroom with the heat and moisture, but I don't foresee any issues.
