too fragile
I have an other step product for my dog that is more stable. I think the product should have three steps instead of four. The dog weighs 36 pounds and has no trouble going up the steps the problem with the stability is when she tries to go down the pupstep. I would not recommend this product.

Appealing
My little dog can now access a new mattress (it is
a lot higher than the old one). I shopped all the pet
stores. Most of their offerings were only 18" high--
too short. These pet steps are attractive and,
best of all, fold up for easy storage.

Great Product
This stair unit is very light yet sturdy. The carpeted treads keep the dogs paws from slipping and the unit is sturdy, me dog is 37 lbs. and the stairs handle her weight very well. Like most new things you will have to train your pet to use the steps, with a couple of treats and about a half hour time, my dog is now using the steps without hesitation.
