Great ramp for larger dogs & SUVs.
This is a GREAT product! VERY light weight, but substantial enough that an 80- lb. dog is comfortable using it. It is also long enough when used in a large SUV the angle is not so high that it makes the dog nervous. Folds in half for easy storage. Could not be happier!

Pet Ramp for 3 legged Alaskan Malamute.
Our rescue Malamute, King, is 6 1/2 years old. If you've never seen an Alaskan Malamute, go online to CHAAMP to see how wonderful they are (and King's Story).. Anyway, King's back right leg had to be amputated when he was just about a year old. We got him when he was 16 months with full knowledge he would eventually have some problems overusing the 1 back leg he had (Athough most times he has no idea something back there is missing.) Last fall he started dragging that back leg. So we knew he was hurting. Our Vet gave him some medicines to help him but strongly advised it was time for him to start physical therapy. Anyway, while Christmas shopping online I checked to see where I might find a dog ramp to put less stress on that back end. This past week we had to start using it. Fortunately there are only 2 steps he has to go up and down to get to our back porch and yard. The ramp is the perfect size for it. He was timid trying it at first. So I put arm chairs on either side of the ramp hoping he'd feel more secure. Didn't take but a few more tries for him to figure out it was safe and easier for him. Makes us feel better too.
