Mortified
I have never given a gift that was broken until now. The mechinism that held the hour and minute hand was broken and because none of the stores in the area stocked the clock all I could so was give the gift recipient the paperwork and hope she had the time to send the clock back. The only good thing I can say about the clock is that it was really cute.
