Lasts for years & I throw mine in washer to clean & sanitize (detergent & bleach).. I am diabetic and don't want any kind of textured mat so this is perfect for me. I'm nearly 70 and never have problem with slipping with this mat and I always use soap & shampoo in my shower.

NEARLY KILLED MY CHUBBY HUBBY
I read many wonderful reviews about this mat, however, my chubby hubby nearly broke his neck.
Being he is so chubby there was a large quantity of soap on the mat and womp he went down like a ton of bricks. The bigger they are the harder they fall.
I would not recommend this mat if you have a chubby hubby like mine

Slippery
I like the length of this mat but it gets very slippery; not good for old folks!
