LOVE LOVE LOVE
I got this tool on a whim when i saw it onsale online... I hate curlers and my curling iron, so i thought i would give this a shot. I just used it this weekend and it was my first time, i didn't even watch the DVD just the informercial online, it was BEYOND easy to use and my hair came out amazing. and without too much hairspray it stayed perfect for over 8 hours, even with running my fingers through it! I am going to take it everywhere i travel, it is super light and small and everything is in the little box. I can't wait for my weddign day so i can do my own hair and rock it! :-)

does what it says
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my hair is thin but very long so I feel I need more shells than what came with it. It does what it says it does, however, my curls do not last that long--could be my hair type though because I can't seem to get any curlers to keep curl in my hair. I am experimenting with different flexible hold hairsprays/gel sprays to see if that will work. But if i don't use any product like the infomercial says--my curl does NOT stay. I DO like the type of curl it gives me though--something I can't achieve with just a curling iron. I tend to leave them heat up longer than when the light indicates and that also helps the curl stay a little longer. Very easy to do once you practice & get the hang of it. Haven't burned my fingers yet although I was afraid I would. I also leave the shells in longer than indicated and that also seems to help the curl stay longer also. My sister in law tried it but said she received the same results from hot rollers but she has very short hair. My niece also bought this and she has good results also. Her hair is very long also but thicker than mine and her curl seems to stay a little better than mine so that's why I'm thinking its just my fine hair that won't let the curl stay.....It's definately quicker to use than hot curlers for me--I have 3 kids and can quickly put these in and get the kids ready, then quickly take the shells out and go....Overall, I am very pleased with this and will continue to play around with it to get the curl to stay and try different styles. I definately recommend buying it.

good product
I do like the topstyler, it gave me great curls 90% of the time. My only complaint would be 10 shells is not enough for anyone with moderately thick to thick hair. As much time as it saves by using it once I still have to put the shells back on the unit and reheat them to do the other half of my hair, if they made more shells in one unit it would be great but it is awfully expensive to buy two sets just to do my hair, I also did notice in most of the demos they have more than 10 shells on the models.
