THE BEST water bottle out there!
After searching in one of their stores for a better insulated water bottle, I decided to shop online to see if they had a better selection. I narrowed it down to 3 choices with this being one of them. It really looked like the best choice out of everything, but of course I was hesitant to get it because there were no other views of it (such as a top view to see what the cap looked like) and it hadn't been reviewed yet. I decided to go ahead with the purchase because I knew I could return it without a hassle in the store, plus I was in dire need of a new water bottle. Having ice cold water by me at all times is important or I will never drink any!
I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the package. One of the things that aren't mentioned or shown in the pic is that on the back of the bottle there is a carrying strap that attaches to the lid - in the same way that you would attach the strap to your camera or cell phone. The strap is easily removable, which was a plus. There is a rubber (or silicone?) gasket in the lid to prevent water leakage and the lid screws tight onto the bottle. The drinking cap snaps onto the lid really tight with another rubber seal, so again water does not leak out and it will not pop open if you drop it! So, after taking it apart I washed it right away then filled it with ice, then water. It kept my water ice cold for OVER 24 hours, and even then there was still ice in it! The outside did not sweat one single drop. The lid did accumulate a bit of condensation, but it wasn't close to being enough to cause it to drip down the sides of the bottle. You don't have to worry about coasters or what surface you are sitting it down on. I am extremely happy with my purchase and am recommending it to everyone I know!
