Purchased the shower rod in November 2012.Rust started appearing in April.Im surprised BBandB would still be handling this product considering all of the negative reviews about rust.Just another example of imported junk.CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Keeping mine!
I love curved rods but cannot install one as our residence will continually be an apartment until my husband is out of the military. So after finding this I was so happy!! As to all the reviews of it rusting...if mine does it, I'm just going to go buy a $4 can of Rustoleum for metal spray paint and repaint it and probably in whatever color I want too!! People repaint metal outdoor furniture and tables ALL THE TIME!! Why not apply that same product to your shower rod since it's METAL and it gets WET?!? I'm keeping my adjustable curved shower rod!

The Gripper Curved Rod
I purchased The Gripper Curved Rod from Bed Bath & Beyond paying handsome price. With in 1 month it is getting rusted and loosing all the chromium or steel metal polish on the road. I thought Bed Bath & Beyond keeps quality products but it Proved totally incorrect in my case.

Very disappointed
I purchased The Gripper Curved Chrome Shower Rod and after a couple of months I noticed rust spots forming on the rod. It's now 3 months later and it looks horrible. This rod was not inexpensive and apparently not rust proof. Very disappointed and it is not a quality product. I wouldn't purchased this product if I were you.
