Your baby can use an entertainer as soon as he or she is able to sit upright unassisted (usually around four to six months). You should stop using an entertainer as soon as your baby can stand flat footed and is ready to start walking. At this point, you can move on to walk-behind and ride-on toys.
Some safety tips: - Never leave a child unattended while in an entertainer.
- Always follow the manufacturer's weight and height requirements.
- Always use the entertainer on level ground.
- Never adjust the height of the entertainer while your baby is in it.
- Use a walker only in a room that doesn't have access to stairs and block access to the outside while the walker is in use.
- Keeping your child in an entertainer for more than 30 minutes at a time can tax their naturally weak back and leg muscles.
