use and care
  return to product product guide

Your diamonds will last a lifetime if cared for properly. Ensure they are stored in a soft pouch or box away from other jewelry items. Diamonds may be the hardest substance on earth, but they can still chip if they come into contact with another diamond.
  • Watch out for chemicals! A diamonds surface is delicate and harsh chemicals can lead to the loss of luster, as well as coat the surface in a dull film. Among the things to avoid are:

    • Cosmetics and perfumes: Perfumes, skin creams, hair sprays and other cosmetics can all damage a diamond. Put on your diamonds as the last part of getting ready, and avoid putting any perfume on the skin that will touch your diamonds.

    • Chlorine and cleaning products: Don’t wear diamonds in the pool, or when you’re doing the dishes or using other cleaning products.
