NOTE: This duvet features a 100% organic cotton shell, which may feel a bit firmer, slightly rougher, and make a bit of noise. That's because it's made from natural, densely woven fibers without any chemical additives—unlike many non-organic cotton or synthetic fabrics, which are often treated with chemicals to feel softer. While those treatments can enhance softness, they are less eco-friendly. In contrast, organic cotton offers a more breathable, durable, and earth-friendly option, providing a natural sleeping experience and superior down-proof performance. 

The duvet filling is goose feather fiber and white goose down, with an extra step to remove solid feather quils, providing plushness and softness, and year-round warmth. Designed with sewn-through box construction, it ensures uniform distribution of the duvet filling, and prevents filling from shifting or bunching. The comforter duvet insert can be anchored to a duvet cover by its 8 reinforced corner and side tabs keep your comforter in place, also can be used as a duvet insert or as a stand-alone comforter.

Recommended Care Instructions:

• 1) Machine Washable: Wash the comforter in cold water on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. This helps maintain the fabric's quality and extends its lifespan.
• 2) Tumble Dry: After washing, tumble dry on low heat untilthoroughly dry. Adding a couple of clean tennis balls or dryer balls can help keep the filling evenly distributed and enhance fluffiness.
• 3) Regular Fluffing: Upon receiving the comforter, give it a gentle shake to manually fluff it up for optimal comfort and appearance. Regular fluffing will also help maintain its loft and shape over time.
• 4) Storage Tips: When not in use, store the comforter in a cool, dry place. Use the canvas bag that comes with comforter to protect it.

Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly for shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.

We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.
