Crafted by indigenous women weavers from Eastern India, this throw features a serene, uncolored center bordered with vibrant color—Haldi (turmeric yellow) or Indigo (plant-based blue)—celebrating heritage through design.  

This silk, also known as AHIMSA  silk or CRUELTY-FREE silk, is harvested only after silkworms metamorphose into moths and vacate their cocoons. No silkworms are harmed. The broken strands are gently handspun and then handwoven on bamboo Zidagar looms, using no pesticides, harsh chemicals, or electricity. The silk's natural luster, soft texture, and subtle nubs reflect the beauty of this ethical process.  

Each throw is finished with hand-braided fringes, adding a refined, tactile element to this mindful luxury textile. The minimal central field enhances the frame of natural dye—quiet, centered, and intentional.
