create a home of your own (even with roommates) and college, happier

make your space uniquely yours with Wild Sage™

Roommates are a fact of college life. Whether you’re used to sharing a room or not, if you’re moving away from home, you’ll likely have one or two (or more!) roommates. And, sorry to break it to you, but your space may not be very big. Enter Wild Sage™. Whether you’ve got a big space, a small area around your bed, or just a tiny nook to decorate, our new home collection was made for who you are and what you love. Here are our favorite pieces and some tips for making your shared college space feel like you.

go big, bold, & bright with your bed

When it comes to your college bed, how it looks can be just as important as how comfortable it is. Your bed is your place to sleep, but it’s also where you’ll study, eat, hang out, and it’s a great place to show off your personality. If you’re sharing a room, you may want to talk to your roommate ahead of time to get bedding that works well together. No need to go all matchy-matchy, but look for colors and patterns that complement each other.

throw on some throws

Throw pillows and blankets are good to have around for added comfort, and they’re also a great way to add a pop of style to your room. Choose one or two you love for a simpler look, or pile them on. The more, the merrier.

decorate–make it great!

If you’ve got lots of wall space, don’t leave it blank! Fill your walls with images of things and people you love.

Curtains are another great way to show your style (and to get privacy and keep out light and heat). Pick your favorite color, hang ‘em up. We love the different color options the Valentina curtains come in, and you’ll definitely be able to find one that you and your roommate(s) can all love.

Another fave way to spruce up your space: plants, plants, and more plants. Whether you go with real ones or artificial, a few plants brighten up even the drabbest of dorms.

carve out a nook

Sometimes a nook is all you’ve got, but even your smallest spaces can make a big statement! Get a colorful, comfy chair or, if the area is really small, a pouf. We love this tie-dye version because it stands out, but also goes with everything. This is also a perfect place to add some of those throws and pillows, and some wall decor. If you can fit it, a piece of furniture like nesting tables or a bar cart is a great way to add some storage. Use it for books, makeup, snacks–it’s your call!

goodbye, boring bathroom

Place holder

College bathrooms are small and, well, they’re bathrooms, but that’s no excuse for it to be boring! If you’re living in an apartment, this shower curtain is tie dye for! We also love this bath mat. More tassels = more fun. And we can’t get enough of these towels! We absolutely love the bright colors. Mix your favorites to make a set that feels like you.

There’s way, way more where that came from. Explore the whole Wild Sage™ collection and bring your story to life™.
