Bring the Outdoors in With Spring Florals and Decor

It’s almost springtime! Time to spruce up your home.

Florals for spring. We know, we know. Groundbreaking. But there are reasons flowers and greenery have become the season’s mascots: They’re pretty, they’re fun, and they make your home bright and cheerful. There are lots of ways to bring the outdoors indoors, and you can do it in nearly every part of your house. Here’s how.

In the Entryway

Your entryway sets the tone and vibe for the whole rest of the house. No pressure, entryway. Florals and greenery say, “Welcome,” and there are lots of different ways of doing it. We love a wreath on the door at all times of year, not just Christmas, and while a wreath on the door is technically outside, just go with us on this. This one from Bee & Willow™ Home with dried eucalyptus is fresh and springy.

While we love real plants, it’s no secret we’re fans of the artificial variety as well. They’re pretty and require literally zero upkeep. This artificial sansevieria plant is simple but tall, so it makes a statement. Put it in the corner or next to a bench.

Another way to add some life to your foyer is with wall art. These prints are classic and will add some life to a space that often gets ignored.

In the Living Room

You can use florals in the living room anywhere from the walls to the furniture to the floor. Put them on top of your table or mantel, or add a splash of outdoor charm to your window treatments.

We love swapping out throw pillows–seasonally, monthly, whenever the mood strikes. You spend a lot of time in your living room, and after a while, it can start to feel stale. Changing up throw pillows is a great way to alter the whole look and feel of a room without doing much. These bring a warm, inviting vibe to your space.

Use real and artificial floor plants to give the room a calming feel. Grab a few in smaller sizes for your table, windowsill, mantel, shelves, and bar carts too. We also love hanging plants. Use a tension rod or coat hooks for greenery at every level.

On windows, floral treatments can add a pop of color and fun to an otherwise neutral room. We also love wall decals for the same purpose.

On Your Table

We can’t get enough of the new Milbrook Dinnerware and Serveware Collection from Bee & Willow™ Home. The modern farmhouse look with flowers in that perfect shade of blue makes us want to throw dinner parties very very often.

Of course, your table is also the perfect place to add vases. Flowers will make every meal feel like a special occasion, even if it’s just a bowl of cereal.

Spring is almost in bloom, and now your home is too!
