Kale and avocado are among the healthiest foods, and apples (remember an apple a day…) aren’t too shabby, either. This beautiful green smoothie is really delicious—and don’t worry, it tastes mostly of apple and not a bit like kale!

Ingredients
Smoothie
1 Granny Smith apple, cored, cut into chunks
1 cup lightly packed baby kale
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup ice
Toppings
Diced red apple
Halved seedless grapes
Dried cherries or cranberries
Sunflower seeds
Instructions

Put all ingredients in blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth (sweeten with honey or agave syrup if desired). Pour into bowl and top with Toppings.
