This steak flatbread comes together quickly and tastes delicious. Think of it next time you're cooking for a crowd!
Ingredients
Olive oil
Butter
1/2 large yellow onion, about 1 cup thinly sliced
5 oz baby spinach
Kosher salt
Garlic powder
1/2 lb steak
1 tbsp Worcestershire
1 large flatbread, approximately 20” x 6”
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp steak sauce
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
In a large pan, heat 1/2 tbsp each oil & butter and cook onion until is nicely softened – set aside.
Cook spinach in a large pan with about a tbsp of oil until wilted, then season with 1/4 teaspoon each salt and garlic powder – set aside.
Thinly slice steak and cook in a hot pan with a little oil until just no longer pink, and season with salt, pepper and Worcestershire – remove from heat.
Put flatbread on a baking sheet and place 6-8 inches under broiler until just getting crispy.
Combine mayo & steak sauce, spread on flatbread, then top with spinach, steak, onions and cheese.
Put back under broiler until cheese is melty, remove and serve.
