Don't offer a service you can not provide. Your customer service while professional is ineffective (not only not same day delivery but not same day customer service). Your front line sales staff however is to be commended. Since they can pick up a phone, answer a question, and accurately apprise the customer of what is going on. (Caring enough to offer to make the offer to deliver the order themselves). For what it is worth I'd fire whatever VP f$&@tard that thinks a 2hr wait time to talk to a support rep (and in this case allow for a 12+ hr text response) is acceptable as well as the one that designed or signed off on a delivery model that fails you. Perhaps you could replace them both with someone who gives a crap about your business (I'd offer up your Bakersfield store manager. He seems to care and was polite and as helpful as he could be). There are too many on-line retailers that get it right that you can't afford such p**s poor performance.
