Eureka

Founded in 1909 by Fred Wardell, by 1927, Eureka was selling one third of all the vacuums in the United States. Wardell named his company after an exclamation of great discovery ? Eureka? is Greek for ?I found it?, because he felt it would be known for innovative products; today the North Carolina-based brand is part of the Electrolux family of home care products, concentrating on vacuum cleaners and other home and commercial cleaning products. The company offers a full range of vacuum cleaners including upright vacuums, canister vacuums, stick vacuums, handheld vacuum cleaners, battery-powered vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners and home cleaning systems. In addition to vacuums the company manufactures original and replacement parts such as vacuum cleaner bags, belts and filters. Notable products include the Mitey Mite? canister vacuum and the Mitey Mite? pet lover canister vacuum cleaner; the vacuums are invented for the way you clean.
