Born in Israel, educated in the United States and now a New Yorker, aspiring actress Liora Manne took a textile design class which changed the course of her career. Intrigued, she went on to pursue a master?s degree in both textile design and textile engineering; after experimenting with textile design in the fashion industry she applied her talents to home fashions, with an emphasis on rugs and pillows. Her entry into the area rug industry was revolutionary ?the bold, contemporary colors broke with tradition and opened up a new world of home d‚cor opportunities. Today Liora Manne travels the world to unearth inspiration from sites far off the beaten path; her vibrant designs and colorful prints continue to delight and engage homeowners around the globe.
