Over 35 years ago, Missouri based Precious Moments began when illustrator Sam Butcher and a partner set out to market a line of cards and posters based on his artwork of endearing teardrop-eyed children. Originally created as gifts to friends and family, the illustrations were an expression of his personal faith and conviction and conveyed a message of loving, caring and sharing.
