We have tried all kinds of felt pads, these don't slide and don't last. The last things we tried were the plastic booties with felt on the bottom. These would not slide or stay on. These nylon slides are working OK so far. I installed them on two chairs (used must frequently). OK on them, so installed them on 10 more chairs. I might rate these 5* instead of 4* if they stay on for at least a year. We shall see.
So far so good. These pads have stayed on the feet verses others that we have bought. We recently carpeted our dinning area and have been doing through all kinds of things to help with the feet. This was a good choice!

Wonderful!! Makes moving my heavy wooden dining chairs much easier.
UNLIKE THE FELT PADS THAT PEEL AND STICK ON THESE ACTUALLY DO STAY ON WHEN THE CHAIRS ARE SLID ACROSS THE TILE FLOOR.. REALLY ENJOYING NOT SEEING BLACK MARKS WHEN CHAIR IS PULLED OUT.
Before I had sliders that collected hair. These are clean, easy to slide chairs with them on, protect my hardwood floor and don’t collect dog hair!
Theses are great however wish there was an in between size.
