3M Command 2-Pack Medium Outdoor Hooks in Grey

I purchased these to hang wreaths and garland outside on my front porch and of the 10 that I've hung, 4 of them have already fallen down which is very disappointing.

I bought 3 different packages and tried each time following all directions and hints. I was only trying to hang a 1 lb. decorative item. After 3 purchases I give up a waste of money.

Even though the instructions suggest not using on rough surface i wanted to try anyway. i have LP smartside siding which has a wood texture and the command strip is still holding after almost two weeks. I am very pleased with this product and will use it again.

I bought these to hang a light garland around door. The first one fell off in 10 min. And the other by the next morning. What a waste of money.

Followed directions to clean with alcohol and timed it so I did not reattach hook until the next day- almost 24 hours. Adhesive slid right off the siding. Disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using 2 of these to hang 2 Christmas wreaths on the outsides of my windows. They've already survived rain and some very heavy winds. I have them adhered to the metal frames, not the glass. I cleaned the area well with alcohol 1st and made sure I waited at least an hour before putting any weight on them. As long as the strips used are the ones labeled for outdoors, these stay up. I used them last Christmas also, and they never fell. I'm using the larger version on my front door, and it has adhered continuously for over a year. I change the wreath on the door seasonally, and that hook stays put. My only 2 complaint: the outdoor refill strips are hard to find.
