I've used this hook for years but yesterday the plastic piece in which the hook connects to, broke. Is a replacement available or should I just replace the whole hook assembly? It seems a shame to do so.
I have several of these Command Hooks in my home. They look great and are quite useful for staying organized. I love that I can rearrange on occasion and move for painting as well. I'm quite disappointed though that some keep falling down, even with a much lower weight threshold than stated on the product. It's hard to trust them with breakables. I've wasted a lot of money buying replacement strips. I have had better success with lower weight hooks than the 3 and 5 pound. I use the heavier ones for empty purses (one per hook), bath towel and robe. They randomly fall off the wall. The last one actually ripped into the drywall. It was a 5# hook on painted wall.

I brought this about 3 hrs ago to hang towels and bath robes in my bathroom but the book came down and it seems that the plastic part that the hook slides on and hold the hook to the wall broke and haven't found a replacement. The hook its self is still okay and now I can't use it so it's a waste

The command hanger is functional and looks so nice on our door to hang up my robe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these hooks in the front hallway for guests. They can hang their jackets and coats, sometimes two on a single hanger. Made sure that I read the instructions carefully before putting them up. And even had to adjust one because I put it on crooked but with the extra strip it wasn't a problem. They look so modern and compliment the cream walls.

after about a month or two this came crashing down in the middle of the night. there was 1.6 pounds on the hook. when it fell, it ripped the surrounding paint clean off the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a mobile home, therefore fairly thin walls ie paneling, so I used these to hang curtain rods, diverting from having to make holes. When I saw this as a suggestion I was so excited as I was just putting curtains up for 12 windows. Comparing these to the hardware, if I'd gone that route these hooks are less expensive as well. So thrilled that these were less mess, less work and even cheaper than original plan. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these command items.
