This is a very high-quality pan with a lid. I was very happy with the quality and the way the pan cooked. I was OK with the price of the pan plus the speed of delivery.

Well…the regular stainless is working out for me anyway. My other non stick All-Clad isn’t holding up very well so maybe it’s for the best. I love the depth of this sauté pan. It holds all the vegetables and meat of a stir fry and I don’t lose any if I get too enthusiastic with my stirring.

I love the quality of All Clad products. My new 6-quart sauté pan can site on a small stovetop heating unit and the heat spreads evenly over the entire bottom of the pan. The handles stay cool to the touch. I love this pan for large soups and roasts.

The craftsmanship alone sets it all by itself. Even if the look of a pan seem mundane to you, this pan is beautiful to look at and so very well constructed. You can feel the 3 ply construction …… sturdy, solid. But that isn’t really what a good pan is about. Results are in the good it produces and this beautifully crafted deep Saute pan evenly heats and prepares your food. There is no mounded middle which results in burning or scorching the middle of the pan. It is perfectly flat in the center. The high sides are really one of my favorites highlights as they help to eliminate the messy splatter so common in sauté cuisine. The lid is also a thing of beauty and fits the pan perfectly. Oven safe, easy to clean and it will last a few lifetimes. Your great, great, great grand children will cherish this pan 100 years from now just as we do our families Wrought Iron workhorses that have been in our families for generations. This is a DO ALL WORKHORSE. As another reviewer mentioned, ALL CLAD May have made a major mistake in producing this pan because of its fantastic versatility.

Only downside is the handle gets very hot and need to use pot holder when removing pot from stove top or oven.
