All-Clad D3 Nonstick Stainless Steel Fry Pan with Lid

After my old Calphalon Non-Stick Fry Pan starting chipping and discoloring after years of heavy use, I did a bit of research for a replacement. I've always stayed away from Stainless Steel because I thought that the food sticks and cleaning the pan would be much harder. Little did I know that cooking with SS is amazing. Yes, your food sticks to the pan.... but that's only so you can make a crust (sear) to lock in the flavor of your seasoning. As for cleaning the pan, it couldn't be any easier. How hard is it to boil a bit of water in the pan and then use a spoon to scrape the stuck on food from the pan? NOT hard at all. Afterwards, just wash like normal and dry. Viola! Done! The first day that I got my All Clad 12" SS Fry Pan with Lid, I made the best steak that I've ever made. Hubby was extremely pleased with the Garlic & Mushroom Top Sirloin. Since I am so extremely happy with this All Clad pan, I am already looking for a reason to replace all my non-sticks.Hahaha. So what's my fascination with my All Clad? ...... because it's Stainless Steel and not Non-Stick (better for your health because it won't flake/chip), easy to clean, durable and high quality with a LifeTime Warranty, heats fast and evenly, I can use any type of utensils without worrying that it might damage my pan, and overall.... a joy to cook with. And for those wondering what the difference between the Fry Pan with Lid and ones without in same size, NOTHING! The one with the lid is just a "popular and promotion." I opted to get the one with the lid because if I wanted to get a lid later on, it would cost at least $30. Didn't make sense to me that the one without the lid cost more too. Therefore, if this is your first All Clad purchase, congrats. If used correctly, your food will come out amazing. Just remember to heat your pan first until beads of water "dance" in the pan, before adding your oil and food. And it only requires you to use low to medium heat since the 3ply construction heats up fast and evenly. Thank you Bed Bath & Beyond and All Clad for such a great pan. :)
