Pros: This cookware keeps an even heat with very little sticking especially when used with the recommended medium heat. They also cook very well in the oven for a shorter time because the pot holds the heat better than any other pot that I have used in the oven. The handles stay cool when used on the stove and the D5 handles don't turn in your hand like the old handles did. They clean up nicely but sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get them perfectly clean. I use the all clad pot cleaner and the Kitchen plastic cleaning pads for stainless steel and granite. Cons: They are expensive but well worth it in the end.
This set is so gorgeous, cooks so well, a nightmare to clean. I tried everything, barkeepers friend, researched online, made sure I was always up to temp, still a nightmare. Also, when I put one in the dishwasher, it discolored the outside yellow, even though it says dishwasher safe. I decided to return and replace with the silver set with teflon. Wish me luck.

I like the mirror finish in the lids, and the scratch irrelevant brushed finish inside. I got the heavier D5 for more even heating, and made Spanish rice the other day, and heated up some frozen soup. It really is nonstick! How'd you do that? It scrapes right up with a silicone spatula. Much better than other steel pans I've had, or my cast iron pan that a year later still sticks to eggs. Folks told me I missed out in the ceramic coated technology, I don't think I'll miss it.

It cooks well but clean up is not as easy as I’d hoped. I miss having a see-through lid more than I thought I would.

After your cookware has cooled and is ready to clean, rinse off any excess food with warm water, soak your pan in warm, soapy water and use a sponge or soft cloth. Rinse your pan with warm water. For tough to clean spots or marks, like burnt fat, protein shadows, and charred food, clean with a nonabrasive, non-chlorine cleanser, like All-Clad Cookware Clean, Bar Keeper's Friend, or Bon Ami. Form a paste with the cookware cleanser and a small amount of water. Apply the paste onto the cookware and use a sponge or dishcloth to rub in a circular motion. Repeat this process as needed. Took a little learning curve to cook with stainless. But just like the gas stove, I will never use anything else.

I purchased this to replace an 11 yr old Calphalon non-stick cookware set. In comparison, we have gone back to our old set. These are sharp-looking plans. They will elevate a kitchen from a "we've done this before" look to a "we KNOW what we're doing". At least until you use them. Using the pans is awkward. The handles are very long and hang off the stove/require awkward handling around other pans on the stove. Their length further complicates storage. However, our biggest concern with the pans is their ability to not stick. I've read around 20 articles on how to cook with these pans, and watched even more videos to no avail. I contacted All-Clad and they said their satisfaction guarantee only applies to unused products in their original packaging, but that I could return them at my own expense for a warranty assessment. I suspect that a warranty assessment would reveal the pans operate as expected and aren't as good as an 11-year-old non-stick pan. Additionally, the pans use very little heat (essentially low through the 5 on a typical 10 point burner dial). In my opinion, this reduces the sensitivity and the ability to cook across a greater range of heating temperatures. For instance, a "1" heat setting with the All-Clad is really a "2" with another pan. Where this gets to be a problem is at a heat setting of "4", you're essentially at an "8" with a normal pan. Overall, they are too complicated and don't provide the performance benefits desired. These should do fine as a backup set.
