I purchased the 10piece set a couple of months ago, because I was looking for quality cookware that was also healthier for my family. It's a relief not to worry about telphalon chipping away into your foods. This set has been serving my family's cooking needs for the most part. (We cook eggs only on a "green pan") With this 10 piece set I don't feel like I'm missing anything. It is very sturdy, and I'm confident it will last a long time. If you use enough oil, and move meats around until seared they won't stick. There are lots of great tips on u-tube. I upgraded to the Brushed Stainless, which I like, but not sure it's worth the price difference. The only thing I miss from my old cookware set are the glass tops. Please note larger pots are heavy. Overall, I'm very happy I finally made this investment!
I own many pieces of 3 ply All-clad cookware. I was ready to make the large investment in replacing my old Farberware set of saucepans that are nearly 30 years old. I ordered this 2 QT d5 brushed saucepan and was very disappointed to find that the rim of the pan on the underside was not completely polished. It looked like the pan had ridges on the underside of the rim where the metal layers were not even when they were pressed together. I could rate this as a cosmetic defect, although the long term effects of this are unknown. However, to my surprise, when I put the pan on a flat counter top I also noticed some wobble. In examining it closely I found that the bottom of the pan was not flat and had at least a 1 mm gap on the edges. This for a $200 pan! I compared to my old 3 play Farberware that is over 30 years old and it was still flat as a piece of glass. In short, don't trust the brand name. Inspect your pieces carefully. I'm not saying that this pan is bad, but that All-clad's QC is highly suspect. I imagine that they've relaxed some of their requirements. Also, as a note, I bought the 4 QT version of this same pan and it also had the same cosmetic imperfections around the rim. Again, for a pan in this price range and for something that's going to last a lifetime, inspect your incoming cookware carefully.

I have a whole kitchen of All-Clad cookware going back 25 or so years. This is the first pot I’ve ever used that wouldn’t bring a liquid to boil. 2 quarts over a “rapid boil” natural gas burner could only manage a simmer. The pot is pretty and is well put together, but not very usedul!

Love the evenness it cooks with. I’ve cooked several meals, using different oils, and it works very well! Don’t leave water in it for too long after using it. You may get water spotting. Mineral deposits from the water tend to stain the surface. Best product to remove it is Bar Keepers Friend. Have to clean it early, don’t wait for any liquid to dry in the pan.

I purchased an all-clad set for myself for Christmas. I’ve wanted some for so long and I was dissapointed that some of my pans have some rust and scratches even though I’ve never used them. After first use I had pitting. I bought these hoping they would last a lifetime

Love cooking with our 3 quart All Clad sauce pan. It is very durable and washes well in the dishwasher. Although we have electric stove now, we are looking forward to investing in an induction stove top and All Clad pans work on induction stoves. This size of sauce pan is perfect for my husband and I. We love our pans so much that as we were fleeing the Hurricane Ian here in Florida- I saw my husband packing up the All Clad pans and I said, “What are you doing?” He replied, “I’m not leaving our All Clad pans behind they are too valuable!” That’s how much we enjoy cooking in these pans. I would say we use this 3 qt pan nearly everyday. Highly recommend it.

This pan is wonderful. It is very heavy, but that means that it brings the contents up to temp quickly and maintains it easily. AND it is difficult to burn the contents due to the 5 ply composition. It is beautifully made-a great addition to my kitchen
