Arctic Air® Replacement Filter for Tabletop Evaporative Air Cooler

It works pretty well even against this June weather in VT. Easy to use, but, not in large rooms. Great for personal use or room. I was just a little disappointed when I saw it advertised on tv for the same price, BUT, also deal 2 for the price of 1. Saw ad 2 days after I ordered. I am using it while I am writing this.

Barely does anything to change the temperature and it doesn’t last long. Waste of money

This little fan is smaller than expected, but seems to do the trick — a great way to keep cool. I bought it for my mom who doesn’t have air conditioning in her house. She’s been using it for about a month now when it’s especially hot in the fall. This little machine keeps the family room pretty cool. Got it on sale at Bed, Bath & Beyond, so well worth the price. So far so good... fingers crossed — I hope it lasts for a long time!

I have used this product for about a year. I keep it on my night stand. Its great! Comfortably cools the air & easy to adjust the vent angle. I always run it til its empty. I have never let water stay more than a day. I think other people use it seldom so mold has been a problem. I keep a container of water in my room to refill it. I strongly recommend this for people who will use it often AND make sure its out of water if its going to sit unused for a long time.

These filters can get moldy in just a few days and I live in an arid climate. So I have purchased several more filters. I've learned that I have to run the cooler until the tank is empty and the filter is dry to extend the usability of a filter. Although they can take extra effort to dry, they do provide cooler air in a personal space so I have recommended them with the warning about mold and getting them dry. (Hopefully, the filters in the Arctic Air Ultra coolers don't mold so easily.)

I have had the this for a month and the filter smells so bad. It supposed to last 6 months. I have it in my office and its not on all the times. Hardly used!!
