Balmex® 4 oz. Zinc Oxide Diaper Rash Cream Tube

I purchased this for my niece's shower in June,I used it on my daughter 27 yrs ago and loved it not harsh or over drying.

Excellent "barrier" protection. Can be used for many purposes.

I used desitin with my 1st son and one time after a bad stomach flu his pediatrician prescribed and ointment for his bottom turns out it had 1%zinc and was the generic version to Balmex! I have bought Balmex ever since I apply it every diaper. Ha he just in case. Anytime my son has ever been slightly red even just from pushing the redness is gone by the next diaper change so about 2 hours. I know have a 6 week old and again we only use Balmex. I buy them in the tube and purchase about 10 at a time, I place one in diaper bag and one in each wipe box throughout the house and the rest on our backup drawer. I swear by this

Of course frequent diaper changes and soft wiping are important; however, Balmex is vital to keep little tushies protected (rub on every diaper change) and will heal diaper rash quickly if it does occur. I tried many diaper rash ointments with my first son and this is the best! I now only use Balmex with my second son (and still on my first son... two in diapers). I always give multiple Balmex tubes with my baby shower gifts to each new mom.
