Bartesian 55300 Premium Cocktail Machine

This was the best thing I’ve ever purchased. I love that fact the liquor you use is your choice. Its ease of use to make a cocktail is amazing. I’ve tried a ton of different drinks and have not been let down yet. I order the pods from BB&B or right from Bartesain.

Just got this machine in April and its super fun. It was easy to set up and instructions for the pods are simple as well. Its a good machine if you don't want to be your own bartender and want to try different cocktails. It's also convenient when having guest come over too. My only issue is that the pods can be expensive and they do contain a lot of sugar. But that's cocktails in general!

after owning for 2 months the unit will not power on. it has literally died. The drinks were okay, not great, but the reader has a hard reading the bar codes on the pods and the machine spits juice everywhere. i loved this idea but this machine is cheaply made and i don't recommend it for the price.

The drinks are perfect and this is a must have if you are entertaining or just enjoy delicious cocktails.

So far I love the Bartesian. Easy to get a good mixed drink after a long day of work and dont have to go sit in a bar.

Too many problems, it leaks from the bottom, sprays out when trying to make drinks. I wish to return but BB&B is saying the return time has passed. I don’t wish to be stuck with a machine that’s junk that cost almost $300.

This machine is just “Ok” at best. Here are some of my pros/cons. Pros: -Allows you to adjust the strength of the drink. You can go from mocktail/virgin, light, normal, to strong. -Mixes a drink in about 45 seconds Cons: -The machine gets a little fussy and won’t read some of the pods, resulting in wasted drink pods. This happened more than a few times. Very frustrating…and expensive. -Sometimes the machine would spray out of the glass. I’d need to hold the glass up to the dispenser. Very messy… -You can’t dispense a straight drink/shot. It would be great to have a feature to let you pour a straight drink of your choosing. Whiskey, tequila, etc. -This is specific to the pods. The shelf-life on at least some of the drink pods is not very long. 2-3 months or so. -Pods-the mixers don’t look great once poured. Some drinks / mixers should have a bit of color but once your drink is poured, they all kind of look the same. In some instances, they don’t look very appealing when you expect something similar to what you’ve had many times at a bar. -The machine looks OK but doesn’t feel very sturdy. When comparing it to other plastic appliances (Keurig, etc.), it kind of feels a bit flimsy. -Slow shipping. This shipped directly from the manufacturer but it took about 3 weeks to receive. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. I ended up returning it but because the machine would no longer go into sleep mode. I became worried that it began to malfunction and would result in another issue so I returned it. I was also pushing up on the return period and didn’t want to get stuck with it if it stopped working a month later. Although I received a refund for the purchase of the machine, I lost about $100 or so I drink pods that were either ruined by the machine or that I just didn’t use because I returned the machine. It’s a cool novelty item but it definitely has some quality issues that should be worked out.

I purchased this item online for pickup at store. I drove 45 miles outside of where I reside to get the item. Only to drive 45 miles back and to find out it was used. It was water condensation in the jars. Dirt and hair on the machine. This was a gift. And I was so embarrassed and disturbed upon opening. Customer service has done nothing to right this wrong. More inconvenience has been suggested. Very displeased. This item should not have made it out for resell. Waiting on someone from corporate to give me call and discuss further. This needs to be reported.
