Beast® Blender + Hydration System in Cloud White

Absolutely love the Beast with hydration system and use it everyday.

I just tried using this blender for the first time today and it was a struggle. It took several minutes before I finally got a white light (the unit will not start if the indicator light is not solid white). When I finally decided to call the store to figure out bringing it in for an exchange, suddenly, the light changed from amber to white without me touching it. Once it started the only the liquid contents swirled around while the frozen fruit did not budge. I checked it to make sure the fruit was loose and it was but it still took several minutes to get it mostly blended because the blender kept stopping and flashing amber (which indicates a motor overload). I couldn’t take it anymore so I transferred the contents to my nutribullet which immediately pulverized the ingredients. The Beast seems too finicky and I just don’t see myself keeping it to see if it gets better. I just need to find a nutribullet with a quieter motor because while the “beast” is aesthetically please it does not compare in terms of blending ability. if my nutribullet is have trouble blending I don’t have to immediately or constantly turn it off to troubleshoot. I can give it a hard tap or pick it up and gently shake it to force the contents to move around and that works most of the time. I could barely get one smoothie using the beast as directed. This blender is not powerful or sturdy enough, in my opinion, to endure and ensure years of blending. Again the only issue with my nutribullet 900 is how deafeningly loud it is but I’ve had it for donkey years so perhaps there are quieter models now. I’m going to stick with the brand that I know works well. This isn’t it.

Easy to use and powerful, the jar is a little wide so it’s a difficult to remove of the base with one hand but otherwise good

If smoothies and cocktails are your goal, this is the machine. Powerful motor blends ingredients quickly to the smoothest, least aerated smoothies and drinks of any machine I have used. Sturdy jars and bottles that can take outdoor punishment.
