This is to call attention to those who have bought this NEW model with stiches down the middle. That's not really a problem. I had an older model too. When I got this new one, I merely use a "stitch cutting tool" that comes with a sewing machine, or an Exacto Knife, to remove the stitching. Bingo, it is now just like the older one. Also, Get some STRETCHABLE fabric and make a cover for the warmer so you can remove it for washing when dirty. Make sure to make the "sleeve" longer and wider than the warmer itself so it will give it room for the material inside to move around! Try it! It works and I am a MAN! Another thing. the warmer can only last so long. After using it for some time, the GRAINS inside begin to dry up and will smell like some dry-fried rice and will not hold the heat as long either! Then, you'll need to get a new one!
I had the original Bed Buddy for many years. It did not have a seam down the middle and was wider and heavier than the new style. The new one is not as good. It doesn't hold the heat at all and the center seam makes it harder to move around on my feet. I see this one was made in China. Don't think the original one was. It's sad that the quality of once good products is not more valued than cutting manufacturing costs.

I had a similar product that lasted for years. This one even "burns" on lower setting in microwave. Smells bad! Color has turned from white to brown after first use.Get's cold after 10-15 minutes. I am hugely disappointed and now hesitant to try another new product from website.
I tried this because I couldn’t find earth therapeutics 24 inch wrap that I already had for a year or two I wanted a new one and this one smells weird (like cooked rice on your neck) and is shorter, not comfortable. I used the other “soft” one on my neck to sooth and sleep. I’m returning it. Not half as good as the other! Not soft -bd the handle straps are annoying.
The first one I had for 5 years was great this new version literally stinks! It smells like burnt popcorn after 2 minutes in the microwave and it doesn’t maintain heat very long. Why do manufacturers always have to change a good product?
I had a bed buddy years ago. Recently bought this one. What a difference in quality. The old one was stuffed with filling; this one, hardly no filling. I microwaved it for the same amount of time as the old one, and after only a few times, it burned in the microwave. It also emits a horrible smell.
This item is easily warmed, has a nice weight to it and is washable.
I love Bed Buddy. Puts the heat right where you need it. Great for neck, shoulder and lower back.
I have had these neck rolls before that I bought from spas. I chose one of the more expensive ones from bed bath and beyond and this one smells like popcorn Not happy with it.
I use the Bed Buddy every time i have a pain. I have one one Florida and one in NY. I can’t be without it.
