The mattress cover is made with quality and of a good size. It was not difficult getting it on the mattress because the excellent zipper allowed the cover to be opened almost all the way around. I put one end on like a pillowcase and slipped the rest on a little at a time without straining my back. It is plenty big enough for a thick, puffy mattress.
One review indicate the zipper unzipped "almost all the way around." That may have been true at the time the review was created, but it is no longer true now. One end unzips and about a foot on each side of that end unzips. Consequently, if you try to insert a mattress that will create a lot of friction, you will find it very difficult to get it into this case. Worse. If the mattress is latex and rips easily, expect it to rip during the process. We had to write off the purchase as useless for our need. While the case is good for other uses, I can't give it more than 2 stars based on our expectation based on the review I read before buying it.

I purchased this mattress cover a while back for a traditional mattress, and liked it so much that I bought the same one for my new memory foam mattress: Big mistake! It seems to be the perfect height, but actually compressed the memory foam such that my plush mattress became so firm it was uncomfortable for me. For a traditional mattress, it works great. Easy to install by following the instructions (put the mattress upright and pull the cover down), and protects my mattress without any discomfort. I recommend this mattress protector for traditional mattresses.

This is a good product. It was easy to put on, has a nice feel to it. Bonus is that it is made in USA, and also certified Allergy and Asthma Foundation. If you have allergies, I would recommend this and other related items. I have noticed my allergies improving since using this and pillow covers, comforter cover, etc.
