Bee & Willow™ Fringe Hemstitch Napkins in Granite Grey (Set of 4)

I wanted cotton napkins and these are all cotton. A muslim weight. I prefer something heaver in texture, but for the "on sale" price, the value is there. One thing that disappointed me was the size. The website indicated 20" x 20" . The package says 18" x 18"

They were the perfect color to match the B&W table runner, but became a tangled mess that I never got untangled after the first time of washing

these were washed according to instructions on label and all said ended up with a big tangled ball of napkins with strings all over it poor buy and I am not happy this was for Thanksgiving

Color, size and texture are perfect.

When I first opened the package, I was in love with these napkins - beautiful colour, lovely cotton fabric that was of a nice weight and a good size. I decided to wash them immediately. Followed the washing instructions and when I removed them from the washing machine...oh my. I cannot print the words I uttered. They were all tangled together - the fringes had frayed a bit more while washing and they were totally knotted together. I had to use scissors to snip the fringes in places so I could unwind them. I put them in the dryer and fully expected to have to do this all over again but thankfully, they stayed separated. The napkins are salvageable, only because I can sew and will be hemming them to avoid the tangled mess the next time they are laundered. I was surprised, as I have purchased Bee & Willow linens previously and have been very satisfied. Too bad about this incident, as they are beautiful napkins....until washed!
