Bel Amore® Channing 6-Drawer Double Dresser

First of all the dresser looks nothing in person like it does online. Pine is more of a white color and very distressed looking. Second I paid for white glove delivery and when the two guys got here they told me it was only level one and they don’t have to unbox it. They just put it in the room. That is not true because I paid $99. My first baby I paid for just room of choice and that was $79. So the man lied to my face. So at eight months pregnant I had to open this up by myself and flip the dresser over because my husband is away and i wanted to make sure it wasn’t damaged. I am in the process of trying to return this and I hope I am able to. I am very disappointed with the delivery men. They just lied to my face. Get people who actually want to do their job.

My husband and I purchased this furniture set for our nursery. The “sea-washed pine” is painted, which I don’t think is obvious when you look at the set online. It’s also much more yellow in color than originally thought. This would all be fine except that every piece we have gotten is a different variation of the color. The dresser is the darkest piece with the crib slightly lighter and the changer topper the lightest of all. It looks absurd on top of the dresser. Every box/item number was double checked to make sure we had received the correct products. The quality of the furniture otherwise seems fine, although we did have to drill out holes on the crib to a greater degree than the manufacturer had done to put it together. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

Beautiful dresser but the off-gasses/chemical smell is horrible!! I have left the drawers open and window open for 2 weeks to air it out, no such luck. I tried using baking soda, let it sit for a few days and it still smells of chemicals. So disappointed. I'm hoping I can find something to work in the next couple of months before the baby comes because I do not want this smell on my baby's clothing. I would not purchase this again.

Love the color! Perfect size drawers too!!

I have the entire Channing set, it was given to me as a gift from my parents. Loved it at first but this grow with your baby set is not made well at all. Buy buy baby replaced the dresser because the screws started falling out causing the dresser drawers to collapse. The new dresser is peeling and chipping. The wooden drawers started splitting which is very dangerous to have in a toddlers room. Since I have had the newer dresser for one year buy buy baby could do nothing about it and have me the number to contact the manufacturer. When I did the person who I spoke with offered to send me a paint pen and then told me that I needed to call back to talk to the person who usually works her desk. So disappointed.

This dresser is extremely solid and Heavy! Comes fully put together Great quality with slow close drawers. My only issue is this is more cream than pictured. We ended up keeping and getting a crib to match the dresser .

Be careful if purchasing the “Pine” color. The finish is much more yellow in person than represented in the picture. Otherwise great quality dresser.

this dresser is really nice but unfortunately smells really bad of chemicals. I will be using it for my baby once he's born and I have had to fan it out, wipe it down and open the windows in his room for 4 days now and it still smells really strong. Also this product came with 2 screws closed in between the middle of one of the drawers so they scratched and dented it. Beautiful dresser overall though, if you are going to purchase this do so weeks in advance of use so you can air it out.
