I love the WeMo light switches but not having a switch for 3-way lights is disappointing. If this doesn't come out soon I will likely be purchasing a competitors product.
Wemo products are the most unreliable wifi products I've ever used. They CONSTANTLY disconnect or are "not connected." This is terribly frustrating since to reset the product, you need to disconnect your phone from wifi, connect to the Wemo, and reconnect to wifi. Not an easy process, especially if you have multiple Wemo products in your home. I've tried everything to make this work and conclude that the Wemo systems are junk. Compared to Hue or other competitors and there is no way anyone would consider Wemo. Sorry I did.

Our Wemo devices should work fine as long as there is no wireless interference and/or physical obstructions from where it's placed. Had one for the last four years in the kitchen has worked 100% and now getting more for the rest of the house

When they work they are good but they are always having issues with wifi. They dont work with 5 ghz. once they disconcet you have to resetup everything and cant delete old ? I would never buy these again.

We bought this about two years ago, and it’s always struggling to connect to our WiFi, or it drops the connection every time we reconnect it. I prefer a normal light switch over this

Hello, allia, If you have a dual-band router, then ensure to connect the Wemo F7C030 to the 2.4-GHz network. Also, make sure that it gets enough connection from your router. Used to love this switch. However my light switch that has worked fine is now useless since I changed my home modem/router. It will not reconnect. I have gone through all of the procedures for troubleshooting: Restarted the modem, factory reset my light switch, reinstalled the app etc. The app successfully connects through to the switch, then to my wifi, then at the last step it (discovering you WEMO device) it fails and keeps saying “cannot add WEMO to your account.” I have tried multiple times. Same thing with my WEMO smart plug, same issue.

Our wemo switch has a very hard time staying connected to the WiFi router that is all of 20 feet away line of sight connected. When it loses the connection it is a huge hassle to reconnect. But if you don’t it has an amber flashing warning light. Terrible design.

Works great, looks great and easy to install and activate. The Wemo app is easy to use, and the integrate seamlessly with Google Home.

I have had this item for a couple of years. At first it ran flawlessly. Newer firmware has made it more and more complicated. I need something to turn on/off the light. Don't care about Alexa, Google, personal accounts etc.

I have had these light switches for over a year and they work great. Every now and then they lose connection but with a little work I can get them back operating.
