Better Life® Naturally Dirt-Demolishing 64 oz. Lavender Grapefruit Laundry Detergent

This is our second time purchasing and it continues to work great. It smells good without an overwhelming chemical scent. We used to use free and clear but it nice to have a detergent that no one reacts to that also smells good and works with a septic system. At first it seemed to be more expensive, but it's concentrated and we use even less than recommended and still it gets everything nice and clean, so the cost is actually not bad at all.

I’ve been using this for 2 YEARS now. I’ve been using environmentally friendly detergents for over 10 years. While most get the clothes every bit as clean as Tide - like these commercial detergents - the environmentally ones have a tendency to fade black. Or to make it appear faded. Hey - I’m a downtown ny’er, and most of my fall and winter wardrobes are black. With Beautiful Laundry, my blacks are restored. Oh - those other detergents? They leave a whitish cast on the blacks, which Beautiful Laundry gets rid of. Or they have a “brightener,” which is code for a hydrogen bleacher. I also use it on hand dyed ethnic stuff to avoid fading. This stuff is the best. Bonus: it smells good AND, y’all, it’s so much cheaper than your mainstream detergents. So much.

I only use natural and non-toxic detergents and cleaners and this one does the job.

I only use Better Life cleaning products. When the inventor sprayed the all purpose cleaner into his mouth, I ordered it immediately. And they all work really well. This laundry detergent cleans my clothes well, without harsh chemicals. I like the lavender scented one, it's very pleasant and not overpowering. A little goes a long way, so you save on money. This can be used in high efficiency washers.

One of the few detergents I will use. I don’t like the chemicals in most detergents and have had trouble finding “safe” products that actually work to get my clothes clean. This one does and it smells great, too! I’d give it 5 stars if the price was lower.

You do not use a lot of soap so a bottle lasts longer. Plus you get 20% discount with coupons. It does not leave soap in the clothes. At $16.99 a bottle then 20% off brings it down to $13.59 for a great oap.

I really like this laundry detergent. It cleans my daughter's clothes very well and without all of the chemicals that so many other standard detergents contain. I highly recommend this detergent. It is listed with an EWG.org/guides/cleaners "A+" rating. As for buying it on Bed Bath and Beyond...... my last shipment arrived with the plastic lid broken and over 1/4 of the detergent spilled everywhere inside the box. Very disappointed in their shipping procedures at Bed Bath and Beyond. :-/
