Beyond Gourmet™ Reusable Mesh Produce Bags with Drawstring Closure, Set of 5 plus Storage Bag

As mentioned by some other reviewers, the item description is completely wrong. Wrong size bags, no locking ball on the string, no colored bands (possibly as the bags are all the same size). Also, these are nothing more than a simple mesh bag, no indication that they will do anything to prevent items from drying out. Basically the same as a laundry bag you can buy at the dollar store. They will be going back!

I always try to reuse and recycle when I can. These bags are always in my reusable grocery bags!

Tried these and do not like them!

Item shown is not the same as item received. Both picture and descriptions of bags are incorrect. The bags received are cheaply made and are 1 size only, plus a storage bag. Not suitable for storing vegetables that wilt or dry out from being in the refrigerator unless in an airtight container. Only benefit is for transporting produce to your home from the grocery store, eliminating single use plastic bags.

Love the bags easy to use easy to clean!

They hold produce, which is what they were designed to do. They would be better if they 1.) had some sort of closure/clasp on the string to draw and keep the bag shut. 2.) they’re also a cotton material, and do start to smell if your produce is wet, will also turn the bags brown if fruits/veggies are dirty. So you’ll have to wash them pretty frequently.

They are perfect for fruits and vegetables at the grocery instead of using plastic bags that are always so hard to open and just bad for the environment. Highly recommend!

I've only used them once so far. They were very easy and convenient. I didn't have to struggle with trying to open up the plastic bags in the produce section.
