I bought this blender about a month ago. I was looking for a basic blender because I make smoothies a couple of times per week for myself. I needed my blender to be able to crush ice and mix smoothies with frozen okra. (Try it, you won't even though it's in there!) I didn't know what to get, because no matter what reviews you look at, someone will have something negative to say. Since BB&B has a great return policy, I took a chance on this one. It has not let me down. Now I don't expect the performance to be like the high end machines, but at this price, I don't mind working a little more myself. For what I needed it to do, this basic machine is doing the job with no leaking. I am happy.
I purchased this blender about 3 days ago & it is GOOD. Not great, not horrible but just simply good OR OK I should say. This blender caught my eye because the pitcher is glass & that’s always a plus & the price can’t get any better. However, I tried making a smoothie & the ice does not crush completely. I still had chunks of ice in my smoothie. Also, it would help if each button said what you were pushing on the blender. It’s in the instructions but not on the blender itself which can lead someone to just pressing every button randomly until they have somewhat of a smoothie. Also, today I noticed (after I cleaned it,) that there was black mold under the pitcher by where the blade inside of the pitcher gets turned/ rotated. So, for the price it’s an OK blender. But nowhere near a GREAT blender. I personally would not recommend this blender. The Mold is in the picture attached.

This blender is cheaply made despite the glass jar. The 10 speed buttons all stopped working after just a handful of regular use. Now only the pulse button works at all. Other reviews show that the base also tends to break or leak. You get what you pay for: Don't buy this product.
Needed it to purée food. Did a great job.
Today was the first time that I have used the blender. It was easy to use and I didn't have any problems.

Bought this blender back in March for my new place. Didn't move till June so it sat in the box unopened and untouched. Used it a couple times and now it won't even turn on. I'm not sure what's going. Ridiculous.

Works well. Was a real deal.
I blended about two smoothies before it started smelling of burnt plastic and leaving plastic shavings under its base. Now it won't even turn on at all. I trashed it after about five-ten uses. Waste of money.

It worked fine for 9 months, then one day there were sparks and it stopped working. I was not using it for anything unusual. Blenders should last for years, this is poor quality.
