I never use the programmable part since my sister's coffee maker started a fire many years ago. I plug it in, use it and unplug it. It's an affordable coffee maker and does the job.
This makes good coffee but the parts are cheaply made. I have doubts that it will last long. The plastic basket that holds the coffee seems flimsy and the glass carafe is light, not heavy glass. Also, it does not turn off by itself when coffee is done. I consider that a very important feature as it is easy to forget to manually turn off the hot plate.

I bought this in October 2022 after my other coffeemaker broke. It worked perfectly and I was happy until the buttons stopped working completely tonight. I haven't done anything to the product except make coffee... nothing that would warrant ever single button (hour, minute, on/off, program and auto-on) to completely stop working.

I loved this coffee maker. It was easy to use and worked great. Until, it didn't. I have not had it six months and all of a sudden I went to use it and it didn't work. Water did not go through and hot pad did not heat up. It was on, the lights were all green and it clicked, but nothing happened. I'm not sure what to rate it. We will see how easy it is to get it replaced since it is only 3 months old. That will be the real deciding factor as to it's rating.

I love my New coffee maker. I purchased it for a new move. I recently took it out of the box and it worked perfectly. Very East to use. Not like other complicated coffee makers with so many different gadgets attached to it. This was a great purchase.

Awesome! A lot of nice features for a very reasonable price.
This is a basic coffee maker. It has a glass carafe. My husband would rather have a thermal carafe. Otherwise he likes it. Being basic is good for him since he is technologically challenged.
I bought one of these 2 years ago & it did a great job of making coffee for me almost every morning. However, a few weeks after the 2 year warranty expired it died. Won't pump the water up, won't get hot, just dead. Seems to me that a simple coffee maker could last more than 2 years. Now, what did I replace it with? Same model, because in my opinion it's the best, simple coffee maker on the market, just has a lousy service life. Oh, BTW, I suggest buying a washable coffee filter and using that along with paper filters. That way, if the paper filter folds over (happens about 2% of the time) you won't get grounds in your coffee.
