This item was on sale, unexpectedly & I bought it....so happy! It toasts all items well, cleans up well, & price was super. I'd buy it again, when/if this one dies
The BAGEL setting did not work. Toasted both side of Bagels or buns. returned to store to exchange. Staff and tried the replacement in the store and it failed to heat only one side of slot. We reviewed all instructions to verify we were doing things correctly but NO BAGEL TOASTING FUNCTION! Replaced with a Cuisinart which works perfectly.

My husband put a poptart in the toaster and then took a shower. The poptart never ejected and the toasted remained on. He opened the bathroom door after getting out of the shower to the apartment filling up with smoke (the bathroom is on the opposite side of the kitchen). He ran to the kitchen to the poptart glowing red inside the toaster and instantly picked up the toaster and ran outside to put it on the ground. We have animals in the house. What would have happened if it had of caught on fire instead of just smoking???!?!?! Will not buy another Black & Decker toaster. I got this about a year & a half ago as a wedding gift.

This toaster turns out to be of low quality, I purchased mine 6 months ago. The first 5 months it worked fine but then it started to toast only 2 thirds of the bread. This morning I had to put it out on the back patio because when I tried to use it the thing started smoking, the filaments didn't start to heat up and it smelled like it was burning.
Love this! Perfect toasting every time!!! Very happy with this toaster.

I have had this toaster less than a year and one side has already stopped working; the other side is going also. I am so very disappointed because I purchased one for my sister as well as myself. What a waste

Bought this toaster in October. By June, It stopped toasting and just warmed my bread on the highest setting. This wasn’t a cheap toaster but now need to look into a replacement.
